Human Resources EdTec assists its clients with many aspects of human resources including payroll, benefits, and STRS/PERS reporting. EdTec ensures that employees are paid accurately and on time and that all tax payments are made to the IRS. EdTec withholds STRS and PERS payments, when applicable, and works with the respective county to desposit the withholdings into the employees' retirement accounts. EdTec helps its clients develop employee policies and discipline procedures. While EdTec cannot provide legal advice related to employee handbooks and contracts, the staff can help schools develop solid drafts of those documents to keep legal fees to a minimum. The staff at EdTec work with a variety of insurance agents, organizations, and insurance pools to find the best, most affordable health benefits for its client schools. |
