DataDirector

DataDirector Solution Overview
DataDirector is a web-based student assessment management system with powerful and customizable reporting capabilities.

DataDirector allows you to gather, analyze, aggregate and disaggregate student data in real time for teachers, parents and administrators so that instruction and attention can be targeted accordingly. It also includes a CA standards-aligned Test Item Bank to create curriculum-embedded assessments throughout the school year.

EdTec's DataDirector Licensing and Support Services
Since 2006, EdTec has been an authorized reseller of the DataDirector solution. EdTec's scale allows us to license the solution to charter schools at a substantially reduced cost - making DataDirector affordable and accessible for independent charter schools.

In addition to offering solution licensing, EdTec has developed the charter-centric DataDirector expertise to provide superior implementation, training and on-going support for your school.

  • EdTec can assist in determining the best way to store your local assessment data in DataDirector and manage the import process.
• Exam Creation/Item Bank
  • The Item Bank module allows your school to create its own standards-aligned benchmark or classroom assessments. EdTec can assist in creating these assessments for your teachers or train your staff to create their own assessments.
  • Custom Reports
    • If your school has unique reporting needs or requests, EdTec can create custom reports within DataDirector utilizing your state test or local assessment data.

  • DataDirector is highly customizable and EdTec can tailor support and assistance to satisfy the specific needs of your school. Some of the ways we've helped our clients utilize DataDirector include:
    • Tracking DRA/SRI scores (Developmental Reading Assessment or Scholastic Reading Inventory), writing assessment rubric scores and/or Fall/Winter/Spring Math benchmark assessment scores
    • Custom individual student reports that combine state and local assessment results, grades, ILP comments, etc.
    • Importing NWEA results—ability to compare to semester grades or CST performance or see progress over time
    • Setting up bubble sheets and standards correlations for external exams (eg. Established district or school benchmark exams) so they can be scored more quickly and results can be instantaneously reported in pre-built standards-based reports by class or by school
    • Teacher evaluation scores year over year
